Before debuting as a performing artist, this musician and producer from Colombia, had written airplay smashes for reknown artists such as Anitta,Becky G & Natti Natasha, Mau & Ricky, Sebastián Yatra, Juanes and Bad Bunny amongst many others.

In March 2019, Camilo unveiled his first solo single and video “No Te Vayas” becoming one of the year’s biggest out-of-the-box smashes.

In June, Camilo launched his first promotional tour, visiting Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Panama, USA, Puerto Rico and Spain.  In each country, he was warmly greeted by growing community of fans “La Tribu”.

Camilo released his second single and video “Tutu” with Pedro Capó in August, achieving overwhelming success. “Tutu” topped the charts in multiple Latin American countries and reached #24 on Spotify’s Global and also got to #2 on Spotify’s Viral 50.

The radio success of “Tutu” caught the attention of the international superstar Shakira, with whom he did a remix of the song and reached the top of the charts once again.

In September, Camilo received his first Latin GRAMMY® nomination, for Song of the Year, as co-writer of “Querer Mejor” by Juanes. He’s also received nominations to the Latin American Music Awards, Premios MIAWand Premios ASCAP.

Camilo welcomed 2020 with the release of “Por Primera Vez” and “Favorito” as a prelude to the release of his debut album launched on April 17th. The single Favorito reached Spotify’s Top 50 Global chart and his video got 58 million views on youtube in a few days after its release. His new album “Por Primera Vez” debuted at #1 in over 11 countries and most of the songs in the album appeared on top of the charts worldwide.
